PEAS RICE

PEAS RICE FOR PASTE: PATTI- 2 CLOVES -2 SOMBU -1/2 SPOON SMALL ONION – 6 KASAKASA -1/2 SPOON GINGER\ GARLIC PASTE GREEN CHILLI- 6 TUMERIC POWDER – ½ SPOONS GRIND ALL THIS MAKEINTOPASTE IN THE SMIXI.     INGREDIENTS: RICE- 1 ½ tumbler Water -3 tumbler Peas – 1 cup Big onion – 1 Salt Ghee\oil Mustard- ¼ spoons Curry leaves.   (BOIL THE PEAS SEPERATELY.)   Method: Take a COOKER POUR OIL\GHEE PUT MUSTARD, CURRY LEAVES, ONION, FRY NICELY. THEN PUT THE BOILED PEAS, THE PUT THE RICE, 3 TUMBLERS OF WATER THEN PUT THE PASTE, SALT THEN CLOSE THE LID, LEAVE FOR 3 OR 4 WHISTLES. OFF THE FLAME THEN YOUR DISH IS READY .              

CURD RICE

  CURD RICE INGREDIENTS: FRESH CURD -2 TUMBLER RICE -2 CUP MUSTARD, URAD DAL- LITTLE GREEN CHILLI – 5 GINGER – 1 INCH SALT OIL CURRY LEAVES –I STRING WARM MILK – 1 TUMBLER.   METHOD: 1.        BOIL THE RICE AND KEEP IT SEPERATELY AND ALLOW TO COOL. 2.        TAKE PAN POUR OIL  put MUSTARD, URAD DAL, CURRY LEAVES FRY NICELY. 3.        PUT GREEN CHILLIES, GINGER ALLOW TO COOL. 4.        POUR CURD, SALT STIR WELL. 5.        MIXI IN THE RICE THE CURD MIXER. IF MORE LIQUID POUR MORE CURD. (NOTE: SALT, CURD, WARM MILK, AND POUR TO THE MORNING RICE THE DISH WILL BE NICE.)

Ulundhu vadai

  Ulundhu vadai  [urad dal] Ingredient: urad dal {whole} -1 cup Asafoetida   -2 pinches salt, rice flour -2 tbsp crushed pepper (optional) -½ tsp Method: Soak dal for 1 hr. grind with minimum water, add salt, asafoetida. Take it out from grinder, mix rice flour, pepper. Wet hands, take 1 lime size batter, put a hole in the centre and fry it in the oil.

  Soya masala rice Ingredients: Rice- 1 cup                  Soya chunks -1 cup Onion- 1 Garlic- 4 pods Water – 2½ cups Garam masala powder -1 teaspoon Chilli powder -1 teaspoon Turmeric powder -1/4 teaspoon Oil -1/4 cup Salt to taste.     Method: ·          Wash and soak rice for 1o minutes. Soak soya chunks in water for 15 minutes. Squeeze dry. ·          Take cooker pour oil, crushed garlic and chopped onion fry for some time. ·          Now add soaked rice, soya chunks, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, Garam masala, and water and close the lid. ·          Leave it for 1 or 2 whistles and off the flame then your dish is ready.           ...

                                                        vadai  Ingredients : Rice – 1 ½ tumbler Urad dal – 1 tumbler Method: 1.       Grind rice, dal separately. 2.       In the rice put salt, green chilli and grind it nicely. 3.         Then mix the rice and dal together. 4.       In the mixer put onion ,coconut little, curry leaves, jeera ,mixi well in the hand 5.       Then make like a small ball size round deep fry in the oil. 6.       Then your dish is ready.

  kalyana veetu   White   rava   payasam ingredients: Rava - 1 tumbler Water - 9 tumbler Sugar- 3 tumbler Milk - 1+1/2 tumbler Fruits-  (of your choose). Method: o    Take a pan pour oil or ghee, put   1 tumbler rava & fry nicely   and then keep it aside. o    Take a pan pour 9 tumbler of water into the pan & allow to boil. o      When water is boiling put the rava little by little, without forming the lumps stir well after the rava is boiled . o     Put  sugar-3 tumblers and mix well. o    After it cools, pour   1+1/2 tumbler milk. o    Then put the grapes, apples, pineapple, banana, etc.Your yummy and healthy payasam is ready.       o    Note: do not put papaya   o    1 tumbler rava, 3 tumbler sugar
