Ulundhu vadai [urad dal]
Ingredient:
urad dal {whole} -1
cup
Asafoetida -2 pinches
salt, rice flour -2
tbsp
crushed pepper
(optional) -½ tsp
Method:
Soak dal for 1 hr.
grind with minimum water, add salt, asafoetida. Take it out from grinder, mix rice
flour, pepper. Wet hands, take 1 lime size batter, put a hole in the centre and
fry it in the oil.
