Vegetable biryani


                                                   Normal rice veg briyanai

Ingredients:

  • Normal rice -2 cup
  • Big onion -3
  • Tomato – 4
  • Chilli powder -1 tsp
  • Curd -1/2 cup
  • Coconut milk – ½ cup
  • Carrot -1
  • Beans -8
  • Potato -1
  • Pudina & coriander leaves -1 small hand
  • Salt.
  • For frying:
  • Bay leaves-2
  • Oil ghee -2 tbsp.
  • To make a paste:
  • Pattai \cloves\cardamom- each -2(paste it separately)
  • Ginger\garlic paste     (or) [ginger-1 inch, garlic-6 pods (paste each separately)]
  • Green chilli -3
  • Coriander seeds -1 tbsp (paste it separately)



Method

  •      Soak rice for few minutes.
  •        Chop the veg and keep it aside.
  •        Chop onion, tomato and keep it aside.
  •        Take a cooker pour oil &ghee put bay leaves; fry nicely, onion, tomato,  and turmeric powder fry nicely.
  •        put veg and stir well.put little salt while frying the vegtables,
  •       put the paste (i.e.) - pattai, cloves, cardamom paste.)      Then put coriander seeds, chilli paste and fry well.
  •        put ginger \garlic paste fry nicely.
  •        Fry everything nicely till the raw smell goes.
  •     put pudina, coriander leaves, and chilli powder fry nicely.
  •     pour curd.
  •     Take another pan pour 5 ½ cup water allow to boil separately.
  •     pour the water in the cooker allow boiling, then put the rice, and then put the required salt..   Then close the lid, allow only 2 whistle and then sim it keep for10 minutes then off the flame.
  •    Then your dish is ready.
