Tasty vermicelli payasam

                    VERMICELLI  PAYASAM


INGREDIENTS:

  •            Vermicelli( semiya)  - 100 gms    or 1 cup
  •          Sugar                        - 1/4kg        or  1 and1/2 cups
  •          Cashew nut               - 20 gms      or 10 nos
  •          Raisin                       - 15 gms      or 5 nos
  •         Cardamom                -  2              or 4 nos
  •         Milk                         -  ½ litre       or 1 litre
  •          Ghee                           -  1 teaspoons   or   2 teaspoons 

METHOD:

  •              Fry vermicelli, powder cardamom & keep aside.

      ·        Fry cashew nut and raisin in ghee, keep aside.

      ·        Boil milk and add fried vermicelli to it and cook it in slow flame.

      ·        Add  hot water if required. When vermicelli is cooked, add sugar.

      ·         When sugar dissolves, garnish it with fried cashew nut,

    Raisin, cardamom powder.  Pour it into the bowl and serve hot.
